Day two...

*A picture of you and the person you have been closest with the longest*

I'm pretty close to both my parents.  They've gotten me through so much and I am forever grateful.
Since my Mom carried me for 9 months I guess you'd say then that she wins this award :)

Day One...

*A picture of yourself with ten facts*

Finding a picture of myself proved to be a chore in and of itself.
Not only am I normally the one behind the camera I also hate any picture that I am in.
So this is what you get...

That is adorable little me at 3 years old.  Breaking the rules of the 30 day photo challenge??  I prefer "bending".

Next:  10 facts about me.  Here is where the fun starts, ha.

1.  I am extremely obsessive compulsive with laundry.  The hangers have to be grouped by color and amount.  Things have to be folded and in drawers perfectly.  I've been known to sneak in after G puts his laundry away and redo everything he's done.

2.  I've had an angel for almost 14 years.  I talk to that angel A LOT.

3.  My dream job would be working with pregnant teens.  The Nurse Practitioner who worked with me during my first pregnancy left a huge impression on my heart.  I will never forget her.

4.  I love the beach but I hate sand.  Kinda makes it hard, huh?  Sand finds a way into every crack and crevice.  Even ones you didn't know you had.

5.  As much as I hate to admit it:  I'm an introvert.  I've lost a lot of friendships because I didn't make an effort at keeping contact.

6.  My one true hobby is growing vegetables.  There is something therapeutic about sitting in the middle of all these things you've grown, clipping and picking.  Don't say it's lame until you've tried it ;)

7. I am addicted to The Real Housewives on Bravo TV.  All but NY.  It's like a drug.  You watch it once and you're hooked.  It's always the shows that kill your brain cells that you can't get away from.

8.  I got lost in the middle of Venice, Italy when I was 16 years old.  I thought myself and a friend would never make it home again.  We learned that Venice isn't a very nice place to be lost in.

9.  I am horrible at decorating.  My house is drab.  *laugh*  We've lived in our house over a year and we still haven't hung our pictures.  *ahem G*  ;)

10.  My children have way too much clothing.  It's an obsession of mine.  Feel free to come raid their closets.

There you go.  Don't say I didn't warn you.  I'm about as interesting as a slug.

And so it begins...

I've fallen prey.
I'm diving into the blogging world - feet first this time.
Hey, I'm only a few years late!  I like to ride the "fashionably late" bus.

Today I learned just how computer illiterate I am.
When did programs become so complicated that you have to watch a video just to figure out how to save an image?  On top of that, I couldn't even get links to load.
Oy.

So because of my fiasco you might wonder how the beautiful looking blog happened.
For that, I owe thanks to my wonderful friend, Lindsay, who owns: http://lindsaywriting.blogspot.com/
Her laptop, which houses all her goodies, took a trip to the ICU which limited her choices.
Not too shabby, eh?!
Don't worry, I fully expect a revamp once a full recovery is complete. *laugh*
Hang in there little friend - we need you.
 Thanks, Linds ;)
